Abstract

Human brain is a vital and most important organ of the body as it regulates almost all functions of the body. The Corpus callosum is part of brain enshrined between the two cerebral hemispheres connecting the matching and corresponding areas of the two cerebral hemispheres. The most common anomaly associated with the corpus callosum is its agenesis resulting in various disorders incapacitating the person in carrying out various activities. The aim of the study is to highlight the normal anatomy and associated disorders of the corpus callosum so as to facilitate neurosurgeons to comprehend and manage the disorders associated with the corpus callosum.
