Abstract

In this manuscript, we have generalized the robust active sliding mode control technique to obtain complete synchronization, anti-synchronization, projective synchronization and hybrid projective synchronization between two identical chaotic systems under periodic external disturbances. Further, we show that on the switching surface, the controllers are also successful in achieving exponential synchronization. As an example, the method is applied to a dumbell satellite model and numerical simulations are performed on it to justify the theoretical analysis.
