STUDY ON CORPUS AND TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSLATION

Through the research and exploring on a translation project system of science and technology, this paper focuses on electrical automation and environmental engineering field. Case study was used in this research to apply YiCAT(Yi Compute-Aided translation) to the translation process. On the basis of learning corpus alignment, corpus production, translation project management and translation practice, this paper signifies the role of science and technology corpus production in a translation project management of science and technology, shows how to produce a small corpus related to electrical automation and environmental engineering, analyses the process of a translation project management system of science and technology and provide better services for students majored in translation who have a need for science and technology translation.
