Abstract

This is a review of the promising therapies for Alzheimer’s Disease. The therapies after clinical AD has been diagnosed, are still in development. In other words, the disease is not reversible as of yet. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors seem to be effective at this time. Curcumin and quercetin have been highlighted as promising. A list of common vegetables and fruits that could be consumed regularly as a preventative measure has also been provided. The various types of behavioral problems that could be associated with AD has been cited, with the call for proper and kind treatment of these elderly patients with mental problems.
